Doesn't it seem like every firm offers realtime? Realtime ... REAL realtime ... is a specialty most effectively provided by cream-of-the-crop reporters who work with some of the best, most effective litigators in the country.

Reporting firms sometimes throw together a nice marketing presentation, promise their clients the moon and the stars, then put unskilled, inexperienced reporters in the realtime chair. Considering the high cost of gaining the confidence of an attorney/client, why risk losing it all by sending an unqualified reporter? It is false economy, and everyone suffers. If a competitor offers lower rates, they are acknowledging lower levels of performance and quality. There IS a difference!
You get what you pay for, no more, no less.
I'm always happy to discuss rates ... but realtime is my specialty. The "warm body syndrome" is alive and well in many parts of the country, including here in Washington, DC. When working with an independent freelancer, a REAL realtime reporter will not always be the least expensive choice, but it is undoubtedly the BEST choice! Don't your clients deserve a real realtime writer?
